This is a beautiful trilobite fossil. It is a phenominal Dicranurus monstrosus from Morocco. This amazing specimen was painstakingly prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. Dicranurus is known worldwide for its unique, spider-like appearance. This specimen is GENUINE AND FULLY REAL, unlike many other specimens on the market. This trilobite has its long genal spines and occipital ''Ram's Horns'' prepared fully free-standing, which makes for an impressive display (one horn is pathologically shorter than the other - COOL!). This killer trilobite is beautifully showcased on the large, sculpted limestone base. This is one of the most displayable Dicranurus trilobites we have ever seen.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
