This is a very, VERY spiny trilobite. It is a fabulous Comura sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. The completeness of this trilobite is truly amazing. There are about 40 vertical spines on this trilobite, and all of them have been prepared free-standing! This specimen is ever so slightly arched, which showcases these LONG spines beautifully. The distinct pleural spines and pygidial spines are also intact. The head is extremely well-prepared, showcasing the free-standing snout and excellent compound eyes! But it is the breathtaking array of sweeping back spines that makes this trilobite spectacular. This is one of those extremely elusive ''screamer'' specimens that every fossil collector dreams about.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
