Here is a very rare example of a pair of Jurassic amphibians. This is fabulous NATURAL DOUBLE example of Salamandra adipem, a Salamander, from China. This amazing specimen was acquired in an old collection. This incredible vertebrate fossil is extremely detailed and very well preserved. The distinct amphibians are wonderfully displayed, one is beautifully outstretched and nicely splayed out, not all jumbled up. The individual features of the Salamanders are very intricate and quite easily seen, which is extremely unusual. The extinct amphibians have great, natural coloration which contrasts beautifully with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossils are beautifully showcased on the large, UNBROKEN plate of dense shale. This is a very displayable and collectible example of NATURAL DOUBLE Salamander amphibian from Asia.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
